If you’re planning an Active Directory Migration, you probably will use ADMT provided for free by Microsoft.During the migration, you’ll have to disable SID filtering to allow SidHistory to grant permissions from old domain. You can do that with NetDom :

Netdom trust D2K12R2.local /domain: OldForest.com /quarantine:No

Please, for your own safety, remind to enable SidFiltering back when the migration ends.
