If you used a flash drive in your live, you surely see that kind of message when you were trying to safely remove the drive:

“This device is currently in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and try again.”

You can get rid of it in seconds, thanks to the cmdlet : Write-VolumeCache.

And then retry to safely remove the flash drive :
